With magnificent views across the River Thames, Cliveden was the glittering hub of society in the early part of the 20th century, and later infamously associated with the 'Profumo Affair'. The spectacular estate, with a celebrated parterre, has a series of formal gardens, an outstanding collection of sculpture and statues, as well as extensive woodland and riverside walks. The house is now let as a hotel, and will accommodate us for a guided tour today. Includes admission, which is free to National Trust Members, please ask when booking.
Please note that for all destinations particularly London due to traffic conditions on the day, we cannot guarantee to drop-off directly outside the venue and if you experience walking difficulties, you may need to use local transport.
