Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Travel to the hotel where a welcome tea/coffee and scones and cake will be served upon arrival. Settle into your bedroom before heading to the Springs lounge bar for entertainment from the local choir. After dinner there will be a festive quiz.

Day 2 Winchester

Today we head to Winchester where you may wish to visit the Cathedral or walk through the Abbey House and Gardens. Alternatively, you might prefer to hit the shops or grab a bite to eat in one of the city's many cafés and restaurants. We return to the hotel for afternoon tea/coffee with scones and cakes, there will be a daily film showing in movie corner. We meet for a pre-dinner drink reception and canapes and there will be live entertainment after dinner.

Day 3 Christmas Day

'Merry Christmas'! Spend the morning at leisure. We later sit down to a traditional Christmas Day lunch followed by a relaxing afternoon with afternoon tea/coffee and Christmas cake, evening quiz and a light buffet dinner.

Day 4 Scenic Drive

Today why not join us on an afternoon Scenic Drive as we soak up our surroundings after a buffet lunch at the hotel. We drive through the New forest with a stop at the charming village of Burley, where ponies roam freely, and later a stop at Lyndhurst where the large village is known as the New Forest’s ‘capital’. The churchyard is the resting place of Mrs Hargreaves (Alice Liddle) who was the inspiration to Lewis Carrols’ ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Continue to the southern edge for a further stop at Lymington, here the coastal town boasts a Georgian high street and marina. Or if you'd prefer, relax at the hotel at your own leisure. This evening we have a pre-dinner drinks reception before a gala dinner is served followed by evening entertainment.

Day 5

We say farewell to our hotel hosts and depart for home with comfort stops on route.

Please Note:

As our itineraries are written many months in advance, hotel entertainment programmes and inclusions are still to be confirmed and may be subject to change without prior notice.
