Day Trips coming soon…
Holkham Hall – Monday 5th June
Head to one of North Norfolk’s most beautiful estates, located on the coast at Wells next the Sea and home of the Coke family and the Earl and Countess of Leicester. Characterised by a distinct Palladian style, its impressive past in echoed in the elegant Marble Hall, State Rooms and the vast old kitchen. The mansion is still very much a family home. You can also explore the new exhibition ‘What the Butler Saw’, which will delve into the fascinating archives to tell the colourful stories of the people who lived and worked here – those who have helped to keep the great house running over the last 200 years.

Sudeley Castle and Gardens – Thursday 8th June
Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, Sudeley Castle will capture your imagination with history dating back to the 1400s and nine magnificent gardens swept around the castle. Once home to Queen Katherine Parr, the last of Henry VIII’s six wives, it is thought to be the only private castle in England where a queen is buried within its grounds.

Sissinghurst Gardens – Saturday 17th June
Sissinghurst Castle is renowned for its world-famous garden. Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson transformed the garden in the 1930s around the surviving parts of the Elizabethan mansion, and are of huge importance in English garden design. Here you can amble through one of the country’s most romantic gardens, which enjoys colour throughout the season.
