Cornish Coastal Gems - St Ives, Padstow & Falmouth
Wherever you are in Cornwall, you’re never far away from crystal blue waters and golden sands. Our base is St Agnes, a coastal paradise. Lying on the North coast of Cornwall, this is a magnet for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors and unspoilt spots of our coastline, with the town brimming with stunning beaches and sand dunes, pretty stone-built cottages, art and craft shops, and world-class pubs.
Day 1 Departure: 0700-0800 hrs, making a comfort stop en-route. Hotel check-in. Dinner is included for the next 5 nights.
Days 2 – 5 Tours include:
Padstow. Traditionally a fishing port which retains a distinctive, quaint Cornish character, with a plethora of pastel coloured stone cottages.
St Ives. A famous jewel in Cornwall which wouldn’t look out of place on the tropical coastline of the Mediterranean. The seaside town lies in an unrivalled setting, sheltered by pure blue sea and white sands. See the working harbour, have a look around the galleries which stand testament to its arty community, and browse around the boutiques.
Falmouth. From the bustling narrow streets and cobbled alleys to gentle waters, the stunning town is renowned for its harbour – the third largest in the world. Here you can visit the National Maritime Museum for a taste of Cornwall’s seafaring history or relax on one of the fine beaches.
Truro, Cornwall’s only city. The striking cathedral soars over the skyline and vibrant Georgian and Victorian centre. The Victoria Gardens are perfectly placed to take in the laid-back atmosphere of the city, or you can peruse the quality shops. Nearby, the award-winning working cyder farm Healeys Cyder Farm is located in the heart of the countryside. Explore behind the largest cyder manufacturers in the country and the only distillery of its kind in Cornwall for 300 years. A Classic Tour takes approximately 45 minutes featuring the Cyder Museum, Distillery and Cellars. A homemade Cream Tea is included at the tea room here, set in the heart of the farm’s 170-year old courtyard.
